Donald Trump admits ‘Ukraine may not survive’ in chilling World War 3 warning

Donald Trump has conceded that Ukraine may not withstand the ongoing conflict with Russia, following the US’s decision to halt military aid to Ukraine.

The Trump administration last week suspended US military aid and intelligence to Ukraine in an attempt to coerce it into accepting a peace deal. The move came shortly after Trump’s ill-fated meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.

In an interview with Fox host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, Trump was asked if he felt “comfortable” with the fact that he “walked away, and Ukraine may not survive.”

“Well it may not survive anyway. But you know, we have some weaknesses with Russia, it takes two,” Trump responded.

“It was not gonna happen that war, and it happened so now we’re stuck with this mess,” he added.

The halt to all military aid includes US weapons that had already been transported by air and sea, as well as those in Europe.

Trump will not resume aid to Ukraine even if an agreement on mineral resources is signed, NBC News reported. He also wants to see a change in Zelensky’s attitude toward peace talks.

During the disastrous meeting in the Oval Office, the two leaders intended to sign the rare minerals deal, but it was subsequently put on pause indefinitely. Zelensky described the meeting as “regrettable,” after Trump and Vice President JD Vance accused him of being “disrespectful” and not grateful enough for the US’ support.

Trump also questioned whether Zelensky is committed to getting a peace agreement to end the conflict.

Without US intelligence, Ukraine’s ability to strike inside Russia and defend itself from bombardment is drastically reduced.

Trump said Friday he was “strongly considering” levying new sanctions and tariffs on Russia. Trump said he was considering the action “based on the fact that Russia is absolutely ‘pounding’ Ukraine on the battlefield right now.”

He added that the proposed sanctions could remain in place until the two sides come to a ceasefire.
