Think less pop queen, more cozy cottagecore auntie. And yes, she’s kind of obsessed with it.
Her “1700s hobbies” — and she’s not joking
During a playful visit to boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, Taylor gave fans a peek into her downtime rituals and they’re delightfully unexpected.
“I like to sew,” she said with a laugh. “I specialize, as you know, in children’s purses and baby blankets. I make two things, and that’s it.”
Yes, baby blankets. She even knit one as a gift for Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany after their daughter Golden was born last winter.
But it’s not just thread and needles. Taylor’s deep in a sourdough bread era too, constantly tweaking her recipes and sending test loaves to friends for reviews. Her latest project? A funfetti sourdough she’s been workshopping for Jason and Kylie Kelce’s four daughters, who love everything rainbow.
“They love sprinkles,” she explained. “We put sprinkles in everything when we hang out.”
Bread, blogs, and breakfast pastries
Taylor’s not just baking for the aesthetic, she’s fully invested.
From following cooking blogs (much to Travis’ amused disbelief) to brainstorming wild new flavor combinations, she’s turned her kitchen into a test lab for flavored sourdough.
And if you ask Travis? It’s working.
“She is quite the cook,” he said at a press conference on the Super Bowl’s opening night in New Orleans last year. “Her Pop-Tarts are unbelievable. Homemade Pop-Tarts — unbelievable.”
Apparently, she’s got a killer cinnamon roll recipe too.
A quieter kind of creativity
Between songwriting and sold-out arenas, Taylor finds comfort in the calm of crafting, whether it’s sewing tiny accessories or painting at home.
During her New Heights chat, she mentioned how much she loves to paint, rounding out a set of hobbies that feel as homey as they are wholesome.
