Taylor Swift could’ve had a VIP entrance, private tunnel, or security entourage. Instead? She chose the front door.
Fans have long speculated that Swift kept things surprisingly low-key while attending Kansas City Chiefs games to support boyfriend Travis Kelce. And now, that rumor has been officially confirmed by none other than the team’s owner.
“She literally walked in the front door”
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt confirmed what Swift herself had already shared on New Heights: Taylor Swift used general admission entrances, even at her very first NFL game.
“Yeah, it’s been a little challenge for our security folks,” Hunt admitted, before praising the team’s efforts to keep her safe. But the most surprising moment? When Swift showed up at Arrowhead Stadium for the first time, she declined special treatment altogether.
“The most amazing thing about that first game, which caught us all by surprise, was the fact that she literally walked in the front door. And we had offered to get her some special security. And she said, ‘No, I want to be just like a typical fan. I’m coming straight in the front door.’”
Travis knew she was “down for the ride”
The story came up again during Swift’s headline-making appearance on New Heights, the chart-topping podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce. Travis recalled that Chicago Bears game where Swift showed up without warning and won over his teammates (and the internet) in one night.

Swift’s response? Perfectly Swift.
“I was walking in — I had a hat on and I had a mask on and I’m walking in just in the front where we’re walking in with thousands of people in Arrowhead and nobody, nobody noticed.”
Low-key moves, high-key relationship
At the time, the two hadn’t gone public and fans were only starting to whisper about the possible romance. So Swift’s choice to blend in was strategic and telling.
“There were rumors,” she said on the podcast. “But people were like, ‘What would they even talk about?’”
What stood out most? Her laid-back approach, no diva behavior, no demands. Just a hat, a mask, and thousands of fans around her.
A body language expert even noted Swift’s warm, physical presence during the interview, calling it a strong sign that the relationship is not only real, but getting deeper.
As for that viral “green flag” moment? Kelce himself called her first Bears game entrance exactly that. It was the ultimate sign she was down for the ride.
She’s just like us. Only way cooler.
