During the July 28 episode of their Calm Down podcast, the two Fox Sports hosts reflected on their time with the superstar couple, days after Kelce shocked fans by going Instagram official with Swift for the first time. That snowy getaway? Thompson and Andrews were there and they’ve got nothing but love to share.
“She’s Everything I’d Hoped For”
Charissa Thompson couldn’t hide her excitement when talking about Swift.
“She’s everything I’d ever hoped and dreamed that she could have been and more,” Thompson gushed.
Longtime listeners will remember that Thompson and Andrews were among the first public figures to cheer on the Kelce–Swift love story when it began in 2023. Back when Travis was trying to give Taylor his number after one of her concerts, the two broadcasters publicly encouraged her to give him a shot.
“Clearly it worked out,” Thompson quipped.
Respecting Their Privacy — Until Now
Andrews and Thompson kept the trip under wraps until Kelce made it public with his July 24 Instagram post, which featured a sweet group photo with their husbands and the couple in the snow.
Thompson explained the silence:
“Their lives are so public, so it was very important for Erin and I not to say anything… It’s important for us to let them dictate the narrative.”
Andrews agreed, saying they both feel “protective” of Swift and Kelce.
“We’re so protective of them and their privacy and what they deserve,” she added.
“That’s why we never said anything or planned on saying anything.”
Still, when Kelce posted the photo, Andrews joked that he did so with her approval — and she loved it.
“It’s one of my favorite from the trip.”

The Montana vacation was just one stop in a romantic, low-key offseason for the couple, who spent spring and summer balancing family time, dinners with friends, and snowball fights in the mountains.
