Life after football has been a winning game for former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
Since retiring from the NFL, Kelce has transitioned seamlessly into a media career, serving as a commentator for ESPN on NFL and college football games.
He also co-hosts the hugely popular podcast New Heights alongside his brother, Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Adding to his exciting post-retirement journey, Kelce is preparing to welcome his fourth daughter.
Kelce’s vibrant personality and quick wit have made him a fan favorite on television, showcasing a side of him NFL enthusiasts didn’t often see during his playing days.
His ever-growing popularity also brings some unique challenges, including his connection to one of the world’s biggest stars—Taylor Swift.
As the older brother of Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, Jason finds himself navigating the spotlight in new and unexpected ways.
Jason Kelce Draws the Line at Taylor Swift Tickets
During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show this past Monday, Kelce addressed a variety of topics, from the Eagles and Chiefs to WrestleMania. T
he conversation inevitably touched on Taylor Swift, and Eisen asked whether Kelce gets more requests for professional favors or concert tickets to see Swift.
Kelce was quick to clarify his stance: “Thankfully, I don’t get a lot of people reaching out for Taylor Swift tickets. It’s an immediate no, but I honestly don’t get too many asks. That said, Taylor has told me she’d take care of anyone I ask for, but I don’t even go there.”
Rich Eisen pressed him further, asking, “Are you serious?” to which Kelce replied, “She’s fantastic and has been nothing but lovely to our family. But I still say no to everyone. I don’t want to impose or create any awkward dynamics. She’s a wonderful person, and I respect that boundary.”
Eisen marveled at Kelce’s restraint: “So she’s giving you a green light for tickets, and you’re just shutting it down?”
“Exactly,” Kelce confirmed. “I’m not even stepping close to that line.”
From the Field to the Studio: Kelce’s Surprising TV Presence
Kelce also reflected on his post-retirement transition into the media world. As a center, one of the NFL’s least glamorous positions, he admitted it’s surreal to now be a consistent presence on TV.
“It’s definitely a new experience,” Kelce shared. “It’s strange for a center to be in the spotlight like this, but I’m just rolling with it and having fun.”
From redefining life after football to becoming a dad again, Jason Kelce has embraced his new chapter with the same dedication and humility that defined his NFL career. Whether on the airwaves, in the podcast booth, or as a proud family man, Kelce continues to be a beloved figure both on and off the field.
