Chris Pratt has shaken up the internet after posting a photo of his baby on social media, and it’s hard to choose a side in the argument.
The actor, who is best known for his roles in Parks and Rec, Jurassic World, and Guardians of The Galaxy, is no stranger to getting flack online. Actually, he’s been getting a lot of heat lately and social media users have been quick to call him out in the past.

But this latest online scandal appears to have been caused by an image of his baby and wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
At first, you might think it’s an innocent image of his wife holding their third baby, who arrived in November last year, while lounging on the sofa, but then you look a little south and notice a strange stain.
Of course, it can only be a poo explosion that’s made its way up and out of the nappy.
He wrote as his caption: “Sh*t happens”.
While this does happen quite often when you have a baby, it’s not normally something that’s posted on Instagram, unless you’re desperately asking for ways to get the stain out of the white babygrow.
So, commenters were left with two ways to react: disgust, or laughter.

As it turns out, it was a hard pick, and the internet has officially been divided in half with this one.
While a lot of people have called it ‘disgusting’, another person was extreme enough to urge ‘social services’ to be called after claiming that the baby wasn’t wearing a ‘diaper’.
Fear not, the baby is in fact wearing one, and you can see it in the photograph.
But other comments enjoyed the realities of being a parent, and said that Pratt was showing how relatable he is.
One person wrote: “The most relatable picture,” as another said: “Omg! I remember those days… and 11 years later, I wish they were that size again.”
Someone else commented: “Finding a way to make the best of it…can take creativity.”
It’s safe to say that every parent will see a poo-explosion every now and then when the baby is little, and whether you choose to post it online or not, it totally up to you!

This comes after Pratt was called out for comments he made about his ex-wife Anna Faris.
The comments were made in the midsts of the Los Angeles wildfires, which claimed the lives of two dozen people, and for those who are living California, the uncertainty of safety continues to be very real.
So, while talking about his family and his home being able to avoid the flames, the actor turned his comments to Faris and their son, Jack’s, home.
In his post, he wrote: “It’s truly devastating, as you know. Silver lining is my house was saved, but at the same time, so many people’s houses were burned around us and the community’s gone.”
He continued: “My son’s school is gone. My son’s mom’s house burned down.”
Commenters were not too pleased about his use of ‘son’s mom’ when referring to his ex-wife, but others could understand that he’s remarried, and moved on.

The Guardians of The Galaxy star has been slated for another blunder regarding Anna Faris
Chris Pratt has received some backlash following the words he used when talking about the LA wildfires.
The Los Angeles wildfires have now claimed the lives of two dozen people, as the coroner’s office noted that the death toll from wildfires in LA has now risen to 28. 22 people were still missing as of Monday (20 January).
It has been an incredibly tough time for many people living in California this year, and 2025 has not had a happy start.

Not only have businesses and homes of folk living in the area been taken, but so have the homes of the rich and famous in the area, with a slew of celebs having to evacuate and watch their mansions turn to dust.
Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, and more have seen their homes disappear, as well as that of Anna Faris.
Farris, is the ex-wife of Chris Pratt, and shares a son with him.
While Pratt re-married in 2019 to Katherine Schwarzenegger and went on to have three children with her, he still co-parents with Faris.
However, Pratt has been met with backlash after mentioning his ex while he talked about the devastating wildfires.
His 12-year-old son, Jack has unfortunately lost his home and school to the fires, something which Pratt mentioned in recent talks about the fires.
He shared in a social media update on Wednesday 22 January that his home was still standing, writing: “Miraculously it’s still standing.
“By the grace of God, we have four walls and a roof.”
However, Faris wasn’t as lucky.

The use of ‘son’s mom’ came as a shock, and annoyance to many people on social media, who felt as though he was distancing himself from a woman who had supported him through the beginning of his career until he went on to break into superstardom.
One person wrote: “He couldn’t have said Anna or my ex-wife?”
Someone else shared: “‘My son’s mom’……? Lmao bye.”
Another wrote: “My co-parent’s, my son’s house, Jack and Anna’s house. Anything but what he said.”
So, it’s safe to say that he’s not in many people’s good books, and it’s not like it’s the first time when it comes to Faris.
Pratt faced backlash for not mentioning his ex during a Mother’s Day message to, wife Katherine.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star posted a photo of himself alongside Schwarzenegger, mother-in-law Maria Shriver and mum Kathy Pratt, on Instagram and thanked ‘all of the mothers out there’, but not Faris – the mother of his son.
