SNL Pokes Fun at Bill Belichick and Girlfriend Jordon Hudson’s 49-Year Age Gap: ‘We’re Going to Make Girlfriends Young Again’

Elderly men are now able to pursue relationships with significantly younger women, which is quite appealing, as humorously remarked by James Austin Johnson in the persona of Donald Trump.

Saturday Night Live humorously addressed the relationship between Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson, highlighting their 49-year age difference during the episode aired on May 3.

In the Cold Open, James Austin Johnson reprised his impersonation of President Donald Trump, who signed a fictitious ‘Belichick Law’ aimed at making it acceptable for older men to date significantly younger women.

Belichick, aged 73, and Hudson, aged 24, first met in April 2021. The episode, hosted by Quinta Brunson with musical guest Benson Boone, featured Johnson’s Trump character joking about the age disparity while endorsing the new executive order.

Mikey Day, portraying Stephen Miller, remarked on the implications of the order, to which Johnson humorously responded, ‘That’s right. We’re calling it ‘The Belichick Law.’ We’re going to make girlfriends young again.’

He further commented on the societal perceptions of such relationships. The couple made their public debut at The Museum Gala in December 2024, and a source revealed to PEOPLE that Belichick has never been happier in his relationship with Hudson, who brings a refreshing positivity to his life.

The couple faced backlash after Hudson dismissed reporter Tony Dokoupil’s inquiry regarding their initial meeting during Belichick’s interview with CBS Sunday Mornings on April 27.

Hudson responded, ‘We’re not discussing this,’ following Dokoupil’s question directed at Belichick. The journalist noted Hudson’s consistent presence throughout the segment’s recording.

Subsequently, Belichick issued a statement in support of Hudson, clarifying, ‘She was not evading any particular question or subject but was merely fulfilling her role to keep the interview focused.’

He added, ‘Some of the footage may suggest we were sidestepping the question of our meeting, but we have been transparent about the fact that Jordon and I first met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.’ Saturday Night Live is broadcast on weekends via NBC.
