Trump Signs Order Restoring Monuments Removed During Biden Presidency

The era of wokeness has concluded, with President Donald Trump leading the charge to dismantle the remnants of its historically destructive influence.

On Thursday, the president mandated the reinstatement of monuments that were taken down during former President Joe Biden’s administration. Trump enacted an order entitled ‘Restoring Truth And Sanity To American History.’

In this directive, President Trump appointed Vice President JD Vance, along with the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and Special Assistant to the President, Lindsey Halligan, Esq., to oversee the implementation of these policy changes.

In the last ten years, there has been a significant and widespread initiative among Americans to alter the narrative of our Nation’s history, substituting objective truths with a biased account influenced by ideology rather than factual accuracy. This movement of historical revisionism aims to diminish the extraordinary accomplishments of the United States by portraying its foundational principles and key historical events in a negative manner.

Through this distorted lens, our Nation’s unmatched legacy of promoting liberty, individual rights, and human well-being is recast as fundamentally racist, sexist, oppressive, or otherwise irreparably flawed. Instead of promoting unity and a more profound comprehension of our collective history, this extensive endeavor to rewrite history exacerbates societal divisions and cultivates a sense of national disgrace, overlooking the advancements America has achieved and the ideals that continue to motivate millions worldwide.

He stated: “The previous administration promoted this damaging ideology. At Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — the site where our Nation proclaimed that all men are created equal — the previous administration facilitated training by a group that supports the deconstruction of ‘Western foundations’ and the examination of institutional racism, while also pressuring National Historical Park rangers to allow their racial identity to influence how they present history to American visitors, under the assumption that America is inherently racist.

Once regarded as a hallmark of American excellence and a worldwide symbol of cultural success, the Smithsonian Institution has recently been influenced by a contentious, race-focused ideology. This transformation has fostered narratives that depict American and Western values as fundamentally damaging and oppressive. For instance, the Smithsonian American Art Museum currently showcases ‘The Shape of Power: Stories of Race and American Sculpture,’ an exhibition asserting that ‘societies, including the United States, have utilized race to create and uphold systems of power, privilege, and disenfranchisement.’ The exhibition further posits that ‘sculpture has served as a significant instrument in advancing scientific racism’ and advocates the perspective that race is not a biological fact but rather a social construct, declaring ‘Race is a human invention.’

The National Museum of African American History and Culture has stated that attributes such as ‘hard work,’ ‘individualism,’ and ‘the nuclear family’ are characteristics of ‘White culture.’ Additionally, the upcoming Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum intends to honor the achievements of male athletes competing in women’s sports. These instances are merely a few examples,” Trump remarked.

My Administration is committed to revitalizing Federal historical sites, such as parks and museums, transforming them into dignified and inspiring public monuments that serve as reminders of our remarkable heritage, our ongoing journey towards a more perfect Union, and our unparalleled achievements in promoting liberty, prosperity, and human flourishing. Museums in the capital of our Nation ought to be venues for education, rather than arenas for ideological indoctrination or polarizing narratives that misrepresent our collective history, he further stated.

The modifications entail stipulating that future funding for the Smithsonian Institution shall not be allocated to exhibits or programs that undermine shared American values, create divisions among Americans based on race, or endorse initiatives or ideologies that contradict Federal law and policy; furthermore, they shall honor the accomplishments of women within the American Women’s History Museum while refraining from acknowledging men as women in any capacity within the Museum.
