A new book, titled Tiger, Tiger: His Life, As It’s Never Been Told Before, authored by bestselling writer James Patterson, unveils new insights into their tumultuous separation.
The book, characterized as ‘a hole-in-one thriller’, indicates that the couple’s high-profile marriage began to deteriorate following a Thanksgiving dinner in 2009, during which Elin confronted Tiger Woods regarding his alleged affair with 34-year-old television personality Rachel Uchitel.
Uchitel initially attracted public attention after the September 11 attacks when a photograph surfaced of her holding a picture of her fiancé, who was employed at the World Trade Center.
Although the golf star refuted any claims of an affair with Uchitel, he acknowledged that he was acquainted with her.
Nevertheless, Elin remained skeptical. Tiger proposed that she contact Uchitel to clarify the situation, which caused Elin to hesitate.
However, after Woods retired for the night following Thanksgiving dinner, aided by an Ambien sleeping pill, Elin took decisive action.
