Donald Trump’s latest move shocks many and sparks online debate: What did the President do?

Donald Trump has done some redecorating around the house, causing an online debate

A striking image from inside the Oval Office during President Trump’s February 13 meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has caught public attention.

The photo reveals a framed issue of the New York Post prominently displayed just outside the open door, featuring Donald Trump’s mug shot on its cover.

Encased in an ornate gold frame, the photo stands in close proximity to portraits of some of America’s most revered leaders.

Among them are George Washington, the nation’s first president, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the only U.S. president to serve more than two terms.

The placement of Trump’s mug shot near such historic figures adds a unique visual contrast within the White House setting.

In 2023, the 47th president made history as the first sitting or former U.S. president to have a mug shot taken following his indictment for alleged attempts to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.

Despite the controversy, the low-resolution mug shot took on an unexpected role in his 2024 presidential campaign. Among his loyal MAGA supporters, it became a powerful emblem of resilience, symbolizing their belief that he could not be defeated.

In the days following the New York judge’s sentencing, the 47th president made a bold statement by recreating his mug shot in his second official White House portrait.

Unlike past presidents, who traditionally posed with upright chins and broad smiles—much like Trump did for his first-term portrait—his new image took a dramatically different approach.

This time, he stared directly into the camera from a downward angle, unsmiling, with furrowed brows, mirroring the defiant expression captured in his infamous booking photo.
