On Monday morning, the 42-year-old Primetime anchor posted a photo from Kirk’s memorial service at State Farm Stadium near Phoenix, Arizona, where tens of thousands gathered to honor the late conservative activist.

Watters, dressed in a navy suit with a baby blue shirt and red tie, sat beside his wife, Emma, who wore a navy blazer and pants with a white blouse, in the VIP box alongside President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and other high-profile figures. Trump headlined the memorial with a fiery speech that hailed Kirk as “our greatest evangelist for American liberty” and a “martyr for American freedom.”
Elsewhere, Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, delivered a tearful eulogy in which she stunned the crowd by forgiving her husband’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson. “The answer to hate is not hate,” she told the hushed stadium, drawing thunderous applause.
Later, in his own understated way, Jesse shared just five words on Instagram: “Charlie Kirk we love you.”
