Authorities are conducting an investigation into the enigmatic fatalities of Cameron Hulet, aged 28, and Courtney Hulet, aged 20, who were discovered deceased at their kitchen table in Dundee, Michigan.
The pair seemed to be getting ready to dine on Taco Bell when they unexpectedly fell to the ground. A neighbor, who stopped by at approximately 9 p.m., initially assumed they were merely resting. However, after several hours of observing their stillness, she contacted the authorities.
Investigators discovered no indications of trauma, forced entry, or criminal activity. The couple’s meal remained uneaten, and a pound of marijuana, seemingly prepared for distribution, was located on the table.
The results of the autopsy and toxicology tests are awaited to ascertain the cause of death. Dundee Police Chief Todd Opperman described the case as a ‘puzzle,’ as there is currently no definitive explanation.
The couple recently relocated to Dundee, where Child Protective Services removed their two young children from their custody. Reports indicate that Cameron has a criminal record that includes charges of marijuana possession and assault.
